The external attorney works in the same case.
The law firm is invited to the case. It reviews, comments and works along instead of receiving a PDF. You assign rights per person. Access to the app does not create an attorney-client mandate.
Inventor remuneration. Transparent, even after someone leaves.
Inventions often accompany a company and its inventors for many years. ErfinderWerk shows approved information on the invention and the share together with the remuneration over the years. The company can explain statements and record changes. It clarifies questions in a protected area, including with people who have already left the company.
Personally approved snapshot
When someone leaves, or at the company's request, a state is recorded: short name, share, permitted documents and date. Later changes do not alter it. New information is added as a supplement.
Remuneration over the years
Annual values with a chart, per invention and in total. Provisional, settled and paid amounts are shown separately. New years are added, old values remain.
Statements and corrections
Every statement can be downloaded. Every correction states the reason and is approved. You can see what has changed.
Secure dialog
Messages, questions and documents belong to the respective case. Only the company and the person concerned see the history.
Who pays, who sees what.
- People who have left the company use their access as a free viewer. This is a role, not a plan and not a mandatory subscription.
- The company pays for the organization and the remuneration module. An add-on may apply for a large administrative volume.
- The person sees only what the company releases for them. Third-party IP, customer secrets and other people's data stay off-limits.
- Access can be restricted and time-limited. A viewer does not trigger any AI costs.
This is a function for companies, not a subscription that individuals book. A message in the portal does not automatically replace formal service of documents. Your legal and HR departments assess the legal classification. ErfinderWerk does not provide legal information.
Your own AI and your own infrastructure.
If you want your own AI access, local models or on-premises operation, that is part of Enterprise (universities can also connect their own AI). It is not included in the company tiers.

Does ErfinderWerk replace the patent department or the patent attorney?
No. ErfinderWerk prepares the technical basis. Assessment, IP strategy and filing remain with your IP function and with patent attorneys. Patentability is not guaranteed.

What does it cost for companies?

What does access cost for employees who have left the company?
Basic access is a free role. The company pays for the organization and the remuneration module.
