Find expertise and collaborate.

An invention often needs more than one mind: colleagues, experts in a specific field, a patent attorney. ErfinderWerk brings them together in one shared case instead of sending versions back and forth by email.

Outlook The expert network is an outlook.

One case, several contributors.

Find the right experts and keep working together.

Find experts and law firms

Expert profiles with areas of expertise, a directory and project-related requests are part of the outlook. You search by field and choose yourself whom to involve.

Invite instead of forwarding

The inventor invites their law firm, the law firm its client, the company a specialist law firm. Each invitation defines what the other side may see.

One case instead of a PDF handover

Approved technical content, variants, claims, comments and versions are in one place. Whoever reviews works in the same model as the inventor.

Costs clearly assigned

Every AI action has a named cost bearer. Costs arise only with explicit authorization; the company administration confirms company credits.

Roles, approvals and viewers.

Everyone who works on a case has a role. It determines what is visible, what may be edited and who pays for AI actions.

Roles in the shared case

Inventors and co-inventorsContribute the idea, add to it, discuss it and develop the invention further.Own budget or the named cost bearer.

The viewer is a role, not a separate plan. The rights in detail are in the features overview.

What the network does not replace.

  • Access to ErfinderWerk does not create a mandate. Client and law firm conclude a mandate themselves and separately from the application.
  • An entry in the directory is no statement about the quality of legal advice.
  • ErfinderWerk does not set up an attorney mandate automatically and does not file patents.
  • We have referral and fee models legally reviewed independently before a directory goes live.

Frequently asked questions.

Can I find a law firm through ErfinderWerk?
Directory and profiles are part of the outlook, not available today. If you already work with a law firm, read the page Patent law firms: it explains how client and law firm work on the same case.
Who pays for AI usage when several people work along?
A cost bearer is named for every AI action. Neither viewers nor invited experts trigger paid actions without explicit authorization.
Do outsiders see my entire invention?
No. Only what you release for the invitation becomes visible. How ErfinderWerk handles confidential content is described on the page AI and data protection.
